"National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur, presents Pravah '08, its 2nd ever techno-management festival, from March 29th to 31th, 2008 which is the amalgamation of these two facets of human civilization.
Powered by the philosophy of Mr. Rudyard Kipling ‘if you can fill the unforgiving minute with sixty second worth of distance run, this world is yours and everything that’s in it’, we live every second with the zeal of a child. Diversity is our culture.Engrossed in various activities like academics, sports etc. time management and toil is all we know till date.So this fest is an effort towards maximizing our outcomes.
This festival had been an event of the students' intense labor, passion and participation in huge numbers from colleges all over the country. TATA Steel itself had been the mentor for the college and had always been a great support for every event that had been organized. Pravah is a portal for all the budding engineers and "geeks" to pitt their skills against the best in the country in events like Business & IT quizzes, programming competitions, software presentations, case study and model creation. Watch robots race themselves on the road or fight themselves out in a game of Polo. If you are the kind who likes to shut himself up in a laboratory, you can even present your papers to be judged by the best in the business. If you are already intimidated by all the jazz, don't you worry. Pravah organizes guest lectures and seminars by eminent professors and personalities who shall get you updated about the latest technologies used in today's industries.

Dr. Anil K Rajvanshi has been director of Nimbkar Agricultural Research Insitute (NARI) at Phaltan, Maharashtra.He developed “NOORIE" a multifuel one and runs on kerosene, diesel and low concentration ethanol.

Prof. Subhash C. Mishra is the Dean of Academic Affairs of IIT Guwahati. Prof. Mishra has more than 120 research publications in peer reviewed journals.
